Absence Summary
- Regular and punctual attendance is necessary for academic growth.
- Students are permitted to have up to five (5) excused absences per semester unless approved by the superintendent or designee. Any absence beyond five (5) is considered an unlawful (unexcused) absence.
- This includes all excused absences, including parental, admin, and medical.
- Of the five (5) excused absences, three of them may be parental-excused.
- Students must attend 66% of the school day to be considered present and eligible for extracurricular activities.
- After three (3) consecutive absences, students must have a medical excuse or each additional day will be considered an unlawful or unexcused absence.
