Welcome to SchoolStatus Connect!

OSSD is excited to soon be using SchoolStatus Connect this year to unify our family communication across the district. With SchoolStatus Connect, our families will be able to receive communication from OSSD, as well as the schools and classrooms for which your students participate.
 
OSSD will begin sending invitations to parents and guardians to join SchoolStatus Connect later this week. While you are not required to join and create an account to receive important information from your student’s teacher or school, joining will unlock additional features, including the ability for two-way communication with the classroom teacher.
 
To connect via email:
  1. Click on the email invitation. This was sent to the primary email address on file in PowerSchool.
  2. Click on the “View on SchoolStatus Connect” button.
  3. Create your account. You will be prompted to create a password and select a language preference.
  4. Log in anytime. Once your password is set, you can log in to SchoolStatus Connect anytime, either on the web or the mobile app using the credentials you just created.

The SchoolStatus Connect portal is a one-stop-shop for you to view all of your SchoolStatus communications in one place, reach out to your student’s teacher, and more.
 
Family members can view SchoolStatus notifications and keep up with district, school, and teacher communications in a variety of ways:
  • Directly in your email inbox
  • As a SMS text message on your phone
  • Within the SchoolStatus Connect family portal - via web or app (Search “SchoolStatus Connect” in your app store).
