Thank you for choosing Ocean Springs School District! This page is for registering NEW students.
New student & kindergarten registration for the 2023-2024 school year is open May 1st-June 30th, 2023.
Step #1:
Documents Needed for Enrollment
You are required to upload ALL necessary documents into the Registration Gateway. Required documents are noted below.
High School Students (9-12)
Bring a current transcript from their last school.
Elementary Students (K-8)
Print the Educational History Form and complete it for registration.
Age Requirements: Kindergarten students must be FIVE on or before September 1st. First Grade students must be SIX on or before September 1st.
NOTE: Parents registering K-3 students should consult the school attendance zone map to determine their student's assigned elementary school.

Congratulations, you have completed the registration process for new students!
Your student's new school will contact you to confirm final registration details. In the meantime, we encourage you to visit our Parents page, where you can find helpful information about grades, policies, transportation, and more!

Out-of-District Transfers

This form is only for students residing within the boundaries of OSSD, but attending another school district.

Petition for Enrollment of Out-of-District Student When Parent is OSSD Employee
This form is to be used for annual enrollment/re-registration for students whose parents are instructional employees of OSSD, but live outside of the district limits.

Tuition Enrollment Program (TEP)
The Board of Education of Ocean Springs School District (OSSD) has determined to admit to its high school on a tuition basis a defined number of qualified nonresident students interested in pursuing a rigorous course of study prerequisite to admission to the OSSD International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) or the Advanced Placement Capstone Program. The District has established the following eligibility requirements or criteria in determining whether to admit a nonresident Tuition Enrollment Program (TEP) student to be eligible to apply in a student’s freshman year (or sophomore year if openings are available) for admission to the District's International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program or the Advanced Placement Capstone.
