Playoff Football Info & Reminders
The Greyhounds are back in the football playoffs and excited to host the Northwest Rankin Cougars on Friday night! In order to ensure a safe and orderly environment for all of our student-athletes, coaches, and spectators, OSSD wants to remind you of the following guidelines for conduct during Friday night’s game.
GAME INFO
- Northwest Rankin Cougars at Ocean Springs Greyhounds
- 2024 MHSAA 7A Football Playoffs - 1st Round
- Kickoff: 7 p.m.
- Location: Hugh Pepper Field
TICKETS
- Playoff tickets cost $10 and are available for purchase at the gate and online by clicking here. Please note that the MHSAA sets playoff ticket prices, not OSSD.
- Faculty and staff badges are not valid for free entry into playoff games. Staff members must purchase a ticket.
- Season tickets do not include playoff games and there is no reserved seating. Season ticket holders will need to purchase a ticket to attend.

NO RESERVED SEATING
- There are no reserved seats for the playoffs. Fans may not rope off or block off seating in advance.
- Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. and seats are on a first-come, first-served basis.
OSAF PARKING PASSES
- OSAF parking passes are still valid for the playoffs. Only fans with a valid OSAF parking pass are permitted to park in the OSAF parking areas.
- Any vehicle parked in a reserved parking spot without a pass will be subject to towing at the owner’s expense.
FIELD & SIDELINE ACCESS
- An official field pass from the Athletics Department is required for field access before, during, and after the game.
- Per MHSAA guidelines, students and fans are not permitted on the field until the visiting team and sideline have exited the field completely following the game. Any violation of this could result in OSSD being fined up to $5,000.
STUDENTS & CHILDREN
- All K-6 students must be accompanied by an adult at all times. K-6 students left unattended will be asked to call their parents to pick them up.
- Students will not be allowed to congregate in front of the restrooms, concessions, under/behind the bleachers, or sidewalks. Students in violation of these rules will be required to leave the premises or be picked up by a parent or guardian.
Fans or students who are asked to leave an OSSD athletic event due to misconduct are subject to being banned from future athletic events. Reminder: Students in attendance at, or participating in, any school district activity are subject to the rules and disciplinary consequences set forth by the student code of conduct.
