OSSD Child Nutrition Director Announces Retirement

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss (OSSD) -- Mrs. Gayle Schultz is retiring after dedicating over 27 years to OSSD, 17 of them as our Director of Child Nutrition.

Mrs. Shultz served the last 17 years as our Director of Child Nutrition, overseeing the operations of our school cafeterias, planning and coordinating meals for students, and ensuring OSSD provide nutritionally balanced meal options for all students.

Prior to serving as Director of Child Nutrition, Mrs. Shultz served in many different capacities, including Child Nutrition Bookkeeper, records clerk at OSHS, and an assistant child care teacher at the VoTech (now Career & Technical Education Center).

Upon retirement this summer, Mrs. Shultz is planning to spend time with her grandchildren and travel to see family.
