Driggers was nominated by Jacob Adams, a 2020 graduate of OSHS and former student. Mrs. Driggers will receive $3,000 as part of the award, $2,500 of which is earmarked for classroom use.

About the award: Each year, all students in our district are asked to nominate teachers for the OSEF Niolon Teacher of the Year award. The award is presented in memory of former OSEF Treasurer Jan Niolon and her daughter Pieper who died as victims of domestic violence in 2012. OSSD is extremely thankful to the Ocean Springs Education Foundation for continuing Jan & Pieper's legacy, as well as providing such meaningful support to our school district.
