Melissa Arnold Named Principal of Ocean Springs Middle School

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (OSSD) -- The OSSD Board of Trustees has approved the recommendation of Mrs. Melissa Arnold as the next principal of Ocean Springs Middle School, effective July 1st.

Melissa Arnold will take the helm as Principal of Ocean Springs Middle School after serving OSHS in several capacities, including Assistant Principal, Testing & MTSS Coordinator, and Positive Behavior Specialist. Mrs. Arnold earned a Specialist in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University, a Masters in Organizational and Behavioral Leadership from Regions University, and a Bachelor’s in Sociology from Lewis University in Joliet, Illinois.

Mrs. Arnold takes over for Dr. Carla McCaleb, who is retiring after 23 years with OSSD and 27 years in education.
