Joelle Swinney Named OSSD's November Student of the Month

Ms. Griffin, Mr. Zollicoffer, and I, Mrs. Hall, have chosen Joelle Swinney as the nominee for OSSD Student of the Month. Below is what Joelle's teachers have to say about her outstanding performance:

"Joelle has been an excellent part of each of OSUE's classes throughout the year. She possesses many positive qualities that we, ourselves, hope to have. Joelle is always positive, kind, works extremely hard, and rarely lets anything get her down. Words cannot describe the joy for school that this student has. Each day she comes prepared, excited, and ready for a new lesson. She is always an active participant in the classroom and helps out in any way possible for the good of others and the good of our classroom. Joelle often cares more about others than herself which is rare to find in a sixth-grade student. She truly is a kind person and the hardest working student that I have seen. She deserves the honor of OSSD Student of the Month and will not take it lightly."
