All OSSD students will eat free for the 2021 school year, as the USDA has granted a waiver that all students eat free under the Seamless Summer Option.
The Ocean Springs School District has released its 2021-2022 Return to School Plan. The Ocean Springs School District will return to school on August 4th, 2021 in a traditional format. We will continue to monitor local health guidelines from the Mississippi Department of Health and will update this plan accordingly. The safety of our students and staff members remains our top priority.

Dr. Vickie Tiblier is retiring after 17 years of service to OSSD and 33 years in education.
Dr. Carla McCaleb is retiring after 27 years in education, 23 of them at OSSD. Dr. McCaleb has served various roles for OSSD, most recently as Principal of Ocean Springs Middle School.
Mrs. Gayle Schultz is retiring after dedicating over 27 years to OSSD, 17 of them as our Director of Child Nutrition.
