OSSD Superintendent Michael Lindsey announced on Wednesday his plans to retire on June 30th, concluding a career in Mississippi public education spanning more than 34 years.

Two South Mississippi students have been chosen to participate in the United States Senate Youth Program and will represent the state alongside Sen. Roger Wicker and Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith during the 64th annual USSYP Washington Week.
